Pomegranates - “Monolith Festival Artist of the Week”
Congratulations to the Pomegranates who are this week’s featured artist on Monolith’s Festival Page. They are set to play the 2008 festival, being held September 13th & 14th at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, CO. Festival highlights include: TV on the Radio, Band of Horses, Silversun Pickups, Vampire Weekend, Cut Copy, The Kills, and more.
The Cincinnati group have gained widespread attention with their first full length “Everything is Alive” on Lujo Records. I swear every time I read a review they are compared to someone new. Comparisons have included: Early Modest Mouse, Rogue Wave, Death Cab For Cutie, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, and Wolf Parade. Stop by their myspace and decide for yourself!
