In fact, you are advised to eat around 1800 calories a day, or 1500 for females, which is not that far from the norm of 2200. Another point to note for this diet is that you should not go without food for more than 3 hours in the day. This means that you will be munching most of the time, although in small quantities. It is recommended to spend 45 minutes to exercise; even walking is good enough.
